Today, we want to introduce you to Robyn Ryan
Robyn has been with us nearly 1 year.
When we interviewed Robyn for this little slot, we were delighted to learn so much more about our wonderful colleague.
𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢?
I am born & raised here in the lovely town of Clonmel.
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐥?
I started working last year in September. Mainly working on the bar floor but I have worked functions as well as breakfast shifts .
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐛𝐨𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐥?
I love being with customers, building connections with the regulars coming in but also meeting new faces and getting to know them.
I love the people that I work with, I feel like we all get along with each other, which makes the job go easier and smoother.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐛𝐛𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐥?
I love music, especially traditional Irish music, I can play numerous instruments my favourite is the fiddle.
I also play sports; GAA would be my favourite, but I also play soccer. I’m on the starting 11 on both Commercials & Clonmel Celtic teams.
𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟?
Couple of years ago I used to compete in many competitions in Irish dancing. I won various trophies and medals.
What Robyn didn’t tell us, is that she is well admired by not only her colleagues but also her regulars.
Her colleagues love when she is on shift, and she make the time pass so quickly as they have such fun together.
Robyn features regularly on hotel reviews and is well loved by our customers.
