Today, we want to introduce you to Dean Fitzwater.
Dean has been with us nearly 3 months as a duty manager😊
You could find Dean in any corner of the hotel helping guests, preparing for a busy conference, function or simply behind the bar making delicious cocktails!
When we interviewed Dean for this slot, we were delighted to learn so much more about him.
𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢?
I am originally from London. I had my own trouble shooting business in Spain where I used to help hospitality businesses that needed extra support.
I also owned a pub !
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐥?
I have been working in the Hotel for the last 3 months. I've settled in so well; it feels like I have always been here. My friend works in the hotel & told me all about it, so when the job was advertised, I jumped at the opportunity & have not looked back since.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐛𝐨𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐥?
My favourite thing about working here are the staff & the wonderful guests visiting the hotel!
We are very lucky to have such regular guests & I really enjoy chatting with them daily.
People in Ireland are so welcoming and always ready to have a good laugh.

I love travelling. I have been to Thailand & America. My favourite place is Las Vegas.
I have lived in Spain & Australia.
I do miss the heat & the long sunny days!
Travelling is where I got my love of food.
𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟?
I am a big football fan & really enjoy watching & playing soccer. I am a big arsenal fan.
I have a 5-year-old son Tommy & another ‘bundle’ on the way with my beautiful partner Orlaith.
We enjoy living in the countryside & to be honest you couldn’t get nicer than Tipperary.
